RWANDA - 5 DAYS PROGRAM
INCLUDES GORILLA TRACKING

Day 1 - Arrival: Arrive Kigali where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Day at leisure with an opportunity to take optional excursions. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 2: Leisurely scenic drive to Ruhengeri with views of the twin lakes Ruhondo and Burera. Lunch at Virunga Lodge. Continue to Mountain Gorillas Nest for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3: After an early breakfast drive to the park offices arriving at 0700hrs. You will be allocated a gorilla group followed by a briefing by your trackers/guides. This will be followed by a drive to where the trails and your track begins. Upon sighting the gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical hour before returning to the base where your driver will be waiting for you. After the track you will drive further 1hour 3mins north to Gisenyi. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon at leisure on the shores of Lake Kivu with an opportunity to relax on the beach or swim in the lake or hotel pool. Dinner and overnight at Kivu Sun, Gisenyi.

Day 4: Leisurely drive back to Kigali (3hours). After lunch, depart for a tour of the city that includes the Memorial Museum and the crafts center, where you can 'taste' the true art of the Rwandese people. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
